Reminiscing Sedona Part II

During the first few days of last week, I watched maintenance personnel work on my airplane at the Hawker Beechcraft Service Center at Williams-Gateway Airport in Mesa...until I decided I was too sick to threaten people with my presence! I took my trusty camera to get some shots of my "baby" with panels open and mechanics hanging on every square inch. However, when I tried to fire it up for some photos, my Canon wouldn't turn on. I realized too late that the battery was charging at home! I justify my mistake...nobody wants to see an airplane all torn up and unflyable anyway!

Sooooo, for something fun, I thought I would post a video of my family's trip to year ago this coming weekend! Holy Toledo, it was fun! The "real" Slide Rock in Oak Creek Canyon just north of Sedona was closed on the day we tried to go, so we made our own version behind the house! I thought it was a success because it was just us with no strangers to try to drench through cannonball explosions (courtesy of my brother). It just blows my mind that it was a year ago. My, how time flies!

  1. That was GREAT!! We had so much fun on that vacation. Sure wish we were going again this year--maybe next summer!
    Love you.

  2. Do you have any more? That was summer is going to be awesome!

  3. I don't have any more video of that trip, but it WAS awesome. Maybe I will try to do more video when we are all together. We almost witnessed Jeff losing his swimming suit! Several times!

  4. T'liese--next summer? Do we get to go back to Sedona?

Make my day. I love comments!
